Recognizing the often-overlooked issues of neglect and stigma surrounding mental health in her family and broader community, Adelma has dedicated herself to becoming a steward that advocates for mental health awareness, education, and the breaking down of societal stigmas. She is guided by the principle "you can't pour from an empty cup," emphasizing the importance of self-care as a cornerstone for effectively supporting and empowering others.

Currently, as a valued team member at RJCS, Adelma is expanding her expertise in the field of psychiatric practices. Her responsibilities include conducting diagnoses, developing comprehensive treatment plans, and performing thorough assessments. She approaches therapy with a systemic and family-centered perspective, particularly when working with couples and families.
