About NP Amanda
Amanda Merchant, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides compassionate, trauma-informed psychiatric care to populations ranging from adolescent to older adults. She has experience across inpatient psychiatry, crisis stabilization, and correctional mental health, giving her a broad understanding of complex mental health needs.

Amanda’s approach to care is holistic and patient-centered, grounded in evidence-based treatment and collaboration. She works closely with patients to complete thorough psychiatric evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide medication management and therapeutic support in a respectful, nonjudgmental environment.

She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University College of Nursing, completing focused PMHNP coursework and clinical training in psychiatric care across diverse populations. Amanda is committed to ethical practice, ongoing professional growth, and advocacy for individuals from all backgrounds.
Above all, Amanda strives to create a safe, supportive space where patients feel heard, empowered, and supported on their path toward healing, stability, and long-term mental wellness.
