About NP Brendon

Brendon Paul is a highly qualified healthcare professional with a diverse background in social work and nursing. He holds dual credentials as a licensed master's level social worker (LMSW) and an ANCC board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC). His primary focus is on delivering comprehensive, evidence-based, and patient-centered mental healthcare to individuals of all ages. His practice is deeply rooted in a commitment to ethical care, driven by the principles of social justice, human dignity, diversity, and inclusivity.

Brendon is keenly aware of the multifaceted healthcare needs within communities, especially in the context of disparities and social determinants that often hinder access to culturally sensitive services. His dedication to addressing these issues underscores his mission to improve the overall well-being of his patients.

His educational journey began with a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) in 1998 and a Master of Social Work (MSW) in 2003 from the University of Stony Brook's School of Social Welfare in Stony Brook, New York. During this period, he accumulated valuable experience working in various roles within the City of New York, including child welfare, serving dual-diagnosed clients in correctional settings, and practicing gerontological social work.

With a strong desire to expand his expertise, Brendon pursued a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2012 from the Remington College of Nursing in Lake Mary, Florida. As a nurse, he has amassed over a decade of experience in caring for adults across different specialties, including psychiatric, renal (hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis), and surgical nursing. His commitment to continuous learning led him to achieve a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in 2022 from Wilkes University's Passan School of Nursing in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, ultimately becoming a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Brendon is a dedicated lifelong student of history and an enthusiastic traveler who values experiences that broaden his knowledge and perspective. Additionally, he takes great pride in his role as a devoted father.
