Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Eptesam "Sam" Sufiyan is a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. Sam completed her undergraduate nursing education at Emory University. She has prior experience as a registered nurse in various specialties including child and adolescent mental health and community health. She went on to obtain her Masters of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Psychiatric-Mental Health. Sam is currently licensed to assess, diagnose, and treat psychiatric conditions for individuals across the lifespan.
Sam has prior nursing experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults with complex mental health issues including ADHD, PTSD, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders. She has a particular interest in integrated approaches to treatment and care. This integrated approach includes a comprehensive assessment of an individual's physical, mental, and emotional well being as well as a holistic approach to treatment including therapy, medication if indicated, and other modalities to promote whole health.
Sam is passionate about supporting individuals at every stage in their lives through providing high quality mental health care. Sam is committed to meeting individuals where they are and helping them get to where they want to be.
