Derrick Sykes, a dedicated therapist with 15 years of experience, is committed to facilitating healing and growth for individuals facing a wide range of challenges. Hailing from St. Louis and the youngest of three, Derrick's personal journey and experiences have uniquely shaped his approach to therapy.

Throughout his career, Derrick has honed his expertise in various areas, including working with adolescents, trauma survivors, and the LGBTQIA+ community. His specialization extends to addressing domestic violence, STI/STD infections, and other complex issues.
What truly sets Derrick apart is his passionate commitment to supporting young Black gay men in healing from their trauma. Derrick understands the importance of representation and empathy in therapy, drawing from his personal experiences to connect deeply with his clients. Living with cerebral palsy since birth has given Derrick invaluable insights into living with disabilities, both physical and mental.
Derrick's childhood dream of becoming a therapist was driven by his desire to understand and help others. He takes immense pride in being a therapist who practices what he preaches, making him relatable and authentic. He firmly believes in normalizing therapy as a powerful tool for personal growth and transformation.
