Chalene Gardenhire, LCSW holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Memphis State University and a Master’s of Social Work degree from the well respected, University of Georgia. Her graduate studies and career experiences enhanced her skills allowing her to earn an independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in April 2016. She is a seasoned clinician with over 15 years of mental health and life coaching experience. Chalene specializes in treating individuals undergoing transitions, change, and loss. With more than eight years of clinical studies, she has developed skills to treat anxiety, panic, divorce, grief, health difficulties, and family problems.
As a therapist with Renewed Journey CS since 2010, Chalene provides individual, family, couples, and group counseling. She enjoys facilitating grief and loss support, parent support, and women’s empowerment groups seasonally at the practice. Chalene practices the Family Preservation Model treating families as it relates to their emotional and behavioral difficulties. Chalene believes in providing quality service, compassionate care to every individual she encounters. To avoid additional stress on her client, Chalene embraces the concept of “meeting my clients where they are” to supply every individual with the tools they need to cope with the trials of life.
