Chalene Gardenhire, LMSW graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Memphis State University. In December 2008, she obtained a Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Georgia and earned a professional license in 2010 becoming a Licensed Master Social Worker. She has over 15 years of mental health experience. Charlene specializes in grief and loss. With over three years of clinical experience, she has expertise in counseling divorcees, terminally ill patients and their families.
As a therapist with Renewed Journey CS, Chalene provides individual and group counseling to women and couples. She facilitates a grief and loss support group and women’s empowerment group. Chalene practices the Family Preservation Model treating families and as it relates to their emotional and behavioral difficulties. Chalene believes in providing quality service, compassion and education to every individual she encounters. She embraces the concept of “meeting her clients where they are” to supply every individual with the tools they need to cope with the trials of life.
