BERNICE ELIZARRARAZ

Bernice Elizarraraz is a second year Master's Student Intern from University of Southern California (USC) working towards her masters degree in Social Work with a concentration in Adult and Mental Health Wellness. She has over 10 years of experience working with adults, youth, people with disabilities, Veterans, individuals experiencing homelessness, survivors of domestic violence, and individuals with substance use challenges. She is bilingual and fluent in Spanish. Bernice enjoys working in areas of anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, mood disorders, grief, and relationship conflict. Therapeutic approaches that she specializes in are Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) including cultural modifications, Problem Solving Therapy (PST), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Her approach is people centered, trauma-informed, and ready to assist the needs of those that seek
change.
