Martreica is currently pursuing a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling at Grand Canyon University, building upon her undergraduate degree in psychology from the same institution. With a diverse background in healthcare facilities and school districts, Martreica has honed her therapeutic skills and developed a strong character crucial for effective counseling.

Her journey started in an intermediate care home, exposing her to rehabilitation programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities. This experience ignited her interest in understanding the physiological, emotional, and social factors influencing human behavior. Transitioning to the educational sector, Martreica's passion for aiding youth led her to establish a mentorship program, demonstrating her commitment to adolescent well-being.

In her professional experience at Fulton County School, Martreica has played a vital role in the Certification Department, ensuring compliance with state criteria, providing advice, and maintaining a 95% completion rate in certification compliance. As a Data Clerk, she conducted successful training sessions and managed a comprehensive student database, showcasing her dedication to efficiency and accuracy.

Her tenure at Winn Parish School Board as a Paraprofessional further highlights Martreica's commitment to student engagement, positive reinforcement, and inclusive teaching strategies. Clear communication with parents, students, and faculty was a hallmark of her approach.

In the role of Business Office Manager at Jena Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, LLC, Martreica streamlined monthly billing processes, showcasing her organizational and managerial capabilities.

With a strong foundation and diverse experience, Martreica is poised to graduate and focus on child/pediatric counseling, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral problems, and social difficulties. Her goal is not only to provide therapeutic support but also to raise awareness of adolescent mental health issues.
